My knee hurts. 

I'm fairly sure my primary reasoning for making this journal entry is just to tell you how insanely hyped I am over the new Daft Punk album. It's huge and bourgeoisie and campy and overdone and magnificent and like nothing they've done before, and I love it. I seriously was unsure of what to expect at one point in the waiting game, but now that I've had time for my ears to wrap themselves around the finished product, I'm very, very satisfied. Standouts are "Giorgio by Moroder", "Touch", "Doin' it Right", and "Contact".

In other news, I asked out this girl tonight. Turned down, but amicably. It really hasn't been bothering me as much as I thought it would. So it goes.

I don't really know what else to say. Work tomorrow. Actually looking forward to it. I enjoy having something to do, and it pays. Two good things.

Just listen to the fucking album, alright? I'm about to get back to it. This shit's gonna sound glorious on vinyl.

And I'm finally listening to that Midori album that /mu/ kept harping about.

Onto other things, the wonderful is hosting May Mixup Madness once again this year. Essentially, it's an opportunity to explore your favorite musical artist (or the one of your choosing, at least) as deeply as you desire and rip apart their lyrics line-by-line to compose your own wonderful creation! It'll be my first go at it, and I think I may do T-Rex.

I won't be pushing this aside in the way that I sort of accidentally completely shirked off NaPoWriMo after 2 pathetic attempts to write something. I WAS going to write tonight but then got distracted by my phone. This is why I'm not an English major.
